What the other half of the day looks like.

Four houses, twenty-two societies, seven sports and a service programme that leaves the campus every weekend.

The House System

Every student belongs to one of four houses — Aravalli, Nilgiri, Shivalik and Vindhya — competing all year in sport, debate, music and community work.

Clubs & Societies

Twenty-two student-led societies, from the Astronomy Club and Model United Nations to a Hindi literary circle and a school newspaper published each term.

Sport

Football, cricket, athletics, basketball, swimming, badminton and table tennis, with school teams in the state schools' league.

Music, Dance & Drama

A choir, a Western band, a tabla and sitar ensemble, and an annual production staged by students of Classes IX to XII.

Service & Outreach

Weekend teaching at two partner schools in Bariatu, a monthly blood-donation drive and a plantation programme run by the Eco Club.

Excursions

Class trips within Jharkhand from Class V, adventure camps in Netarhat for the middle school, and an international exchange in Class XI.

Four houses, one scoreboard, all year

Every student and every teacher belongs to a house from the day they arrive. Points are earned in sport, debate, music, quizzing and community work, and the shield is presented on Founder's Day.

Facilities

What the campus holds

Libraries

Two libraries — a 24,000-volume senior collection and a picture-book room for the early years — each with a full-time librarian.

Science Laboratories

Six laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and junior science, all fume-hooded and inspected annually.

Computing & Robotics

Ninety workstations, a robotics bench with 3D printing, and a maker club that meets three afternoons a week.

Sports Complex

A 400m track, two football fields, cricket nets, four basketball courts and an indoor hall for badminton and table tennis.

Swimming Pool

A heated 25-metre, six-lane pool with certified coaches. Swimming is timetabled from Class I.

Performing Arts

A 700-seat auditorium, music rooms for Indian and Western instruments, and a dance and drama studio.

Infirmary

A resident nurse through the school day, a visiting physician twice weekly and a tie-up with a Ranchi multi-speciality hospital.

Transport

Thirty-two GPS-tracked buses across eighteen routes, each with an attendant and live tracking for parents.

Boarding House

Residential wings for Classes VI–XII with house parents, supervised prep hours and weekend excursions.
